Emerald Key pairs the rigor of a top-tier consulting firm with the focus of a boutique that builds. Leaders from McKinsey, BCG, and Goldman Sachs, with PhDs in AI and a team that ships production systems.
Strategy firms write the roadmap and hand it over. Technology vendors build to spec but miss the business. In between sits the place where most AI value is won or lost, and where most firms simply aren't structured to operate.
Emerald Key was built to close that gap. One team carries the work from diagnostic through strategy, into the build, and on into operating it, in deep partnership with you, accountable for the outcome. The strategy is written by the people who will build it; the build is shaped by people who understand the business case.
Because we see the whole arc end to end, we can enter anywhere on it and still get it right, a full transformation, one use case start to finish, or a single phase that's stalled. And because our partners hold PhDs in AI and have built it for real, you get genuinely innovative solutions, what actually unlocks AI value, not just another SaaS tool configured and left behind.
A senior core, a bench of experts who run their own firms and ventures, and a technical team built to ship.

Nephi built Emerald Key to pair real technical horsepower with the judgment to know how a business actually runs, and to build and operate alongside clients, not hand over a recommendation and leave.
Seven years at McKinsey & Co. proved the model. As an Associate Partner, he led large-scale programs driving roughly $1B in recurring impact across AI, operations, and trading, building AI-assisted, asset-backed trading systems, optimizing power plants with AI, and delivering the transformations that get organizations to actually adopt the technology. Having proven that blend of deep technology and hard business value at scale, he naturally left to do it unconstrained.
The technical depth is real, and it was built with purpose. It started by developing bridge-monitoring systems that drove regulation and real infrastructure decisions, and pulled him deliberately deeper into machine intelligence, years before it was called AI. That path led to a PhD in Intelligent Systems at Michigan, plus two master's degrees in computer science and engineering, building novel AI, data-to-decision, and sensor-hardware systems for government agencies and major operators with real assets on the line, not theoretical grant work.
The thread never changed: turn rigorous technology into the decisions that move operations and the bottom line. Emerald Key is the fullest expression of it.

Nayson is a private-equity healthcare operator who has lived the journey he advises on, currently leading a multi-site MSO of 20 practices through an end-to-end AI transformation, and having brokered 20+ PE healthcare transactions.
That mix is rare: an operator who can run the company and a dealmaker who can move the transaction. He partners on healthcare and PE engagements where both are needed, bringing the relationships, the deal instinct, and the hard-won knowledge of what transformation takes once the deal closes.

Weston is the translator between the technical build and the business outcome, making sure what gets built is what the business actually needs. Before Emerald Key, he spent three years optimizing workflows, customizing CRM systems, and building web platforms and marketing strategies, including deep work on the very platform Emerald Key now uses to build custom CRMs for clients.
He has been with the firm from the start, growing into a thought partner in how Emerald Key develops and adapts to an ever-changing AI landscape. Early on, well before the wave broke, he had the vision to help stand up an "AI university" teaching professionals to integrate AI into their daily work.
A bench of experts and advisors who run their own firms and ventures, and partner with us hands-on when an engagement fits their domain. Not passive advisors: senior operators who step in to build alongside us.

Nischala is a solution architect for enterprise-scale AI and a core technical expert on Emerald Key engagements. She spent six years at McKinsey QuantumBlack, McKinsey's elite AI and advanced-analytics arm, engineering production AI and data solutions at scale for Fortune 500 companies.
Before consulting, she spent five years in engineering, automating manufacturing processes, the ground-floor systems work that makes an architect rigorous about what holds up in production. She holds an MS in Electrical Engineering and brings cutting-edge approaches paired with solutions built to last.

Andrew leads product at emerging AI companies (ExaCare, previously Pryon) and partners with Emerald Key across product and technology strategy, going deep on the build or staying advisory depending on what the engagement needs. He has helped shape several of our accelerators. At BCG as a Principal over roughly six years, he focused on private-equity due diligence and portfolio-company operations, go-to-market for software, and operations for consumer and retail businesses.
He and Nephi came out of the same intelligent infrastructure-systems development program at Michigan, a testament to how applied the work was that both went straight to top-tier consulting. He holds an engineering PhD plus master's degrees in electrical and civil engineering.

Jacques is a serial founder and one of the deepest compliance and cybersecurity authorities in the field. As Founder & CEO of JNN Group, he leads Compliance Core, an AI-powered suite for compliance automation, readiness, and continuous monitoring across SOC 2, PCI, GDPR, CCPA, CMMI, and ITGC programs. He advises C-suites and boards across fintech, healthcare, and enterprise tech, and has been featured in Forbes and many others.
His depth runs from the boardroom to the patent filings. As former Chief Innovation Officer at iDiscovery Solutions, whose clientele centered on law firms, he advanced eDiscovery, digital forensics, and data privacy, and has served as an expert witness. For Emerald Key he leads regulatory, cybersecurity, and data engagements, which, with AI moving into the enterprise, is every enterprise AI engagement to some degree.

Scott brings a capital-markets and operating perspective on PE value creation, grounded in building real businesses at scale. At Goldman Sachs over 18 years, he built a $29B AUM mass-affluent wealth business that sold in a lucrative exit. He was then recruited by Osaic as SVP to build the same, and recruited again by Hightower as Chief Advisory Officer to do it once more.
That repeat track record is key: Scott has run operations and built scaled platforms, not just advised on them. He counsels Emerald Key and its clients on capital markets, growth strategy, and the operating discipline that turns a value-creation thesis into a realized one.
Beyond our named team, a network of senior advisors, industry leaders and domain experts across the sectors we serve, has formally committed to working with Emerald Key, with a wider circle we can bring in as engagements demand. They give our teams a direct line to operators who have run the businesses our clients are transforming.
Engagements are delivered by data scientists, ML and MLOps engineers, NLP and prompt specialists, solution architects, and full-stack developers, including master's-level specialists who have shipped production AI, with experience on leading AI hardware platforms. Engagement managers and business translators work alongside them, keeping the build tied to the business outcome.
Top-tier firms give you the strategy. Build shops give you the system. With Emerald Key, you get both, and they're built to work as one.
Strategy that knows how to build, builders who know the business, and the change-management discipline to deliver at scale, so AI doesn't just ship, it shows measurable impact.
The same team, pointed differently depending on what you need from us.
Technical and commercial diligence, value-creation planning, and the deal fluency to move on a sponsor's clock, backed by real relationships across the PE and capital ecosystem. We assess the asset, then help build the value once it's yours.
AI woven into the systems and scale you already operate, CRM, ERP, and the production stack, with the change management and compliance discipline to make it stick across the organization, not just a pilot team.
Build, raise, and go to market with a team that has done all three. Senior firepower and production-grade builds, at a speed and cost a global firm structurally can't match.
Strategic diagnostic, technical build, or anywhere in between, one team, from the boardroom to the build.
